“Remember that note..”

 

That is how Cut Out Heroes’ songs usually take shape. 

 

From random chord strums while waiting for other members set up during band practice to random interlude sessions in between songs, COH pieces have always been inspired by creative freedom. Influenced by different genres of music, each COH member offer something different to the mix but somehow, they are able to find a middle ground as they create spontaneous melodic tunes. 

 

Never really knowing about ‘Post-Rock’ or the genre when they started, the band never had any intention of being ‘Post-Rock’ or even be categorized in any genre. What was clear though was that the band loved writing instrumentals while trying to create different moods as the song progressed.

 

In 2015, the band was very honoured to have been featured on Sterling by Music Man catalogue with both Khai and Rasis playing the SUB Silo 3 series from their SUB line of instruments. Click here to view the catalogue
